Designed to produce more energy than it is required to operate, this positive impact house will offset its own embodied construction energy in 20 years time and will continuously provide energy for the grid or for storage. Intended for a desert climate, it utilized various passive methods to reduce heat gain and actively creates energy from the sun and the wind. It also creates 100% of the water that is required for a family of five via atmospheric water generation which is run also from the renewable on-site electricity.
