The principal team of Studied Impact founded the Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI), which is a project of Society for Cultural Exchange. It is a landmark initiative that has brought together artists, architects, scientists, landscape architects, and engineers in a first of its kind collaboration. The goal of the Land Art Generator Initiative is to design and construct a series of public art installations that uniquely combine aesthetics with clean energy generation. The works will serve to inspire and educate while they provide renewable power to thousands of homes around the world.

On June 4, 2010 we received hundreds of amazing entries from over 40 countries around the world. The designs are innovative in both science and aesthetics. We were thrilled by the number and the quality of the ideas that were put forward. It could not have been a greater success.
